In this manner, every wedding ceremony is unique, filled with love, laughter, and oftentimes tears. Whether your wedding is extravagant, intimate, or slightly unconventional, I am dedicated to creating a ceremony that reflects your wishes and personal style. 

Your choice of a wedding officiant is ideally based on a personal connection rather than just words in an ad or on a website. So, the only way to truly know if an officiant is the person for you is to have a conversation with them and notice how you feel during and after that conversation. You will know. 

The first step is talking together over the phone so that you can get a better feel of me which will help you to decide if I'm the right wedding officiant for you. During this conversation, we'll talk about the general type of wedding you envision, along with details such as date and location, and I'll provide you with a price. 

If you choose to hire me, I book your date and time as soon as you send in a retainer fee. And then the magic begins as we begin the creation of your ceremony. 

We do this by meeting in person and/or talking over the phone about how you imagine your ceremony, such as your wants and needs, wishes and hopes, and desire for (or lack thereof) rituals - traditional, modern, family, religious, or even not-yet created. Through a collaborative effort (in which I'll do most of the work!), your vision of the ceremony comes to life, from the most simple, classic and poignant ritual of union, to one filled with stories and laughter and all that touches your heart.  

I care about your ceremony and take my job seriously. Ensuring that your special day is stress-free means making sure that everyone is not only on the same page, but that they're on your page. 

Yes! My home in Portland CT is perfect for elopements (small, intimate weddings) and I offer a special wedding ceremony package that includes champagne, flowers and cake.

Many clients take advantage of this for the convenience and because it's ideal for wedding ceremonies: natural beauty, woods, flower gardens, perfectly-manicured lush green grass, the sound of a rushing waterfall in the distance, and even a covered porch in case of rain.

I am based in Connecticut but am certified to officiate weddings in all US states and territories. I occasionally book out-of-state weddings and will be happy to discuss that possibility with you. 

My charge for weddings is based on the location of your wedding, the type of your wedding, and any specials I may be running. 

Call me for details, and during our conversation we will determine the type of your wedding and I will provide you with a price. 

The three types of weddings are:

Elopement

No guests, very simple ceremony (no readings or rituals). Does not require a rehearsal. 

Microwedding

1 - 29 guests, no wedding party, ceremony may include readings and/or rituals. Does not require a rehearsal. 

Traditional Wedding

30 + guests, usually includes a wedding party, more involved ceremony that usually includes readings and/or rituals. Requires a rehearsal if there are at least two people in the wedding party.
