Saying goodbye to a loved one is a deeply personal event, and it is important to commemorate their life in a way that feels right to you. Funerals and celebrations of life honor and reflect your loved one's life and tell their story perfectly.
As a non-denominational minister serving Connecticut (CT) and beyond, I am a professional funeral officiant and celebration of life officiant, creating ceremonies for a funeral, memorial, celebration of life, graveside, scattering of ashes or interment. Using stories, anecdotes and other carefully selected elements that reflect the life of your loved one, I will create a service for you filled with personal meaning.
To prepare, I listen to you as we take in the journey of their life, including stories, memories, what made them smile, perhaps what brought them pain or challenge, and so much more. It's this sprinkling of personal details that enables attendees to feel the ceremony deep in their hearts.
Some prefer religious prayers of special significance, while others may not desire a specific kind of faith. There may be a favorite song, well-loved hymn, or precious poem that you would like to incorporate into the ceremony. Maybe you are unsure, and need guidance. In any case, I am here to work with you to beautifully and sensitively craft a service that feels right to you as you say goodbye.
